Erin Beachkofski

Full-stack product engineer with strong product sense + design sensibility.

Multidisciplinary full-stack product engineer with experience building marketplaces, subscription platforms, community tools, and creative products from 0→launch. I work across engineering, product strategy, UX, and design, and thrive in early-stage environments where fast iteration and product judgment matter. I care deeply about intuitive UX, maintainable systems, and human-centered software that feels intuitive, respectful, and genuinely useful.

Experience
  • Founded a product engineering studio helping early-stage startups build thoughtful, scalable software with strong product and UX foundations.
  • Contribute across frontend architecture, backend endpoints, product data flows, product strategy, UX/UI, payments, onboarding, subscriptions, and growth-oriented iteration.

CareCal: Primary frontend engineer for caregiver scheduling and booking workflows; led Stripe subscription/payment integration and helped layer new user roles into the app, including permissions, multi-seat subscriptions, and workflows for a new organizational use case.

BuildIRL: Founding engineer for a community club platform; built across Next.js endpoints, React, and Supabase-backed product flows, led a major UX/product audit and redesign, and improved onboarding, membership plan selection, subscriptions, and email reliability.

  • Designed, built, launched, and operate a bootstrapped marketplace for original miniature artwork, built for ACEO artists and collectors.
  • Built listings, checkout, live bidding, sealed offers, favorites, seller subscriptions, Stripe payouts, moderation, admin dashboards, support workflows, brand direction, and organic growth loops.
  • Grew the platform to 3,000+ users, 150+ paying subscribers, 1,500+ sold listings, and ~$15k GMV in the first 4 months.
  • Promoted from Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer.
  • Built Class I medical device components and FDA-compliant technical documentation for Lingo, Abbott’s FDA-regulated continuous glucose monitor app.
  • Led the AI food logging proof of concept and architected an image processing pipeline tuned for latency, cost, and accuracy, coordinating across backend, frontend, data platform, and partner integrations.
  • Worked across React Native, service integrations, core refactors, and AEM automation that reduced content promotion from hours to seconds.

  • Promoted from Software Engineer I to Software Engineer II; shipped Android product and growth work across user-facing features, release quality, and app stability.
  • Built Retired Gear during hackathon week, then owned the launched feature and kept it healthy after release.
  • Vetted third-party SDKs, handled Play Store releases, monitored stability, responded to regressions, and communicated partner and architecture tradeoffs to leadership.
